Okay. New laptop. Downloaded the 7zip file from MCRIP. Installed 388 updates. Checked windows update and there is around 68 updates to install. Guessing i dont need to? Except for IE9?
What did you use to install the updates? WU should not be showing 68 updates, it sounds like a large chunk of the new updates didn't install successfully. The WU satisfaction issue is by no means anywhere near that number, and they don't show all at once (you have to install some of the WU satisfaction updates to have others show).
Did you rerun WindowsUpdate or did WU just say there are updates to install. After rebooting the system you have to manually rerun WU. Manually search for updates.

Tell me how to integrate the image Windows6.1-KB2023591-x64, Windows6.1-KB2521168-x64. Thank you in advance.
i havent followed this thread for a while but is there a reason why solor's repo hasn't been updated? is there another repo now?
SoLoR will get it when he gets to it-until then use McRip's server for the updates, ricktendo64 for .NET4 plus updates, either KUC or Burfadel's update installer for installation/integration, Burfadel's Visual C++ Redist Installer for C++ runtimes plus updates.
in any case, i need to update my packages meant for integration. i use a 'modified' batch script to integrate. so what should i do now? wheres solor? use another repo? i found a mcrip... or use KUC update checker? someone mind suggesting my options?
i notice mcrip doesn't have ldr placeholder. any reason for that? i usually integrate gdr+ldr and then ldr placeholder. not sure if thats the right way but its how i do it..... care to advise if my order is wrong or unnecessary?
So you're suggesting it's fine to integrate GDR+LDR+LDR Placeholder hotfixes all at once together? my hotfixes are integrated in numerical order.. generally... 9##### -> 2###### starting with feature-hotfixes such as KB943790 satisfy-WU gdr+ldr ie9 ldr placeholder (so this is obsoleted now?) will i be fine?
Yes KUC will do that for you. It is not worth maintaining in a separate folder; the end result all are looking for is M$ update showing no updates pending. McRip's server is up-to-date with all discovered and shared here so far and, at least for most people, does that.
