So you're suggesting it's fine to integrate GDR+LDR+LDR Placeholder hotfixes all at once together? my hotfixes are integrated in numerical order.. generally... 9##### -> 2###### starting with feature-hotfixes such as KB943790 satisfy-WU gdr+ldr ie9 ldr placeholder (so this is obsoleted now?) will i be fine?
Yes KUC will do that for you. It is not worth maintaining in a separate folder; the end result all are looking for is M$ update showing no updates pending. McRip's server is up-to-date with all discovered and shared here so far and, at least for most people, does that.
In about five hours there will be a download link for all available office updates as msp files. I am just uploading the files. The download link will be released when the upload has been finished. This list will be complete! Cheers
Microsoft Camera Codec Pack (16.3.1483.0410) is new-uploaded on McRip's Cesidian server in the uncompressed runtimes folder.
Sorry to ask, but what hotfix pack should I use to update a fresh installation of W7 SP1? I used to download Solor's pack before with success. I tried McRip-UP-SP2-x64.exe, but after several restarts it's showing me "reverting changes..."
Anyone know why there's such a big difference between Solor's and McRip's .7z hotfix files? I know Solor's hasn't been updated lately, but 200MB for x86 seems a bit much for that. Edit: Never mind. I see the extra files such as IE, MRT, Silverlight etc.
In the changelog of McRip, I see the KB2645594, but no link to download And I have this update from January 14 I don't see in the changelog KB2679255-v2 (added when?) and supersedes any update? KB2556532 and KB2644615 are superseded.... KB951422-v2 is superseded by?? I'm lost in the changelog... Thanks
I believe the following updates are required as a minimum for updates not to show in WU: 2446710, 2518869, 2545698, 2547666, 2556532, 2603229, 2618451, 2619339, 2621440, 2633873, 2644615, 2647518, 2656356, 2665364, 2667402, 2656373, 2675157, 2679255 This is the list I worked out, as I said earlier. Still working on a revised installer, I will post it as a test once (and if) I work out the kinks... functionality will be much the same, its just the internal handling of some things that are different.
