What you mean, something like that?

    1. search repo to check if .cab exist and only download the missing .msu (cabs can not be downloaded)
    2. change copyfiles2add to use .cab (if exists) else use .msu?

Would it be possible to remember the Repository Folder and Working folder if it is something else other than c:\wu\Repo and c:\wu? I have to change the targets every time I run KUC.

Use a shortcut with command line options:
/repo-dir:F:\Install\windows_repo (change folder as you need)
/up-dir:K:\Working_dir_for_updates (change folder as you need)

If someone has it, could you please upload KB2685051x86, Google yields no results and komm does not have it in his hotfix downloads. Thanks.

I tried that and it didn't work for me...similar to what komm experienced the other day. Thanks very much PointZero.

Yeah, I had similar problems a month or two ago, then komm had it a week or so ago, and now you're having it. It seems to be happening in waves, affecting different regions, lasting a week or two, then goes away. Using a proxy server seems to get around the issue. Anyway, glad you were able to get the file.

    @Burfadel
The only difference between komm and your latest Old Update Remover W7 SP1 28-Apr-2012 is:
    KB2556532, KB2644615
in both removing superseeded updates and removing superseeded update installers.
My base image had all updates integrated April 28 in the am using KUC. After fresh install then=no updates pending, after running your latest Old Update Remover W7 SP1 28-Apr-2012=still no updates pending on M$ update.
    Thanks Burf'

    to all:
McRip's x86/x64 uncompressed repo directories reflect this and are up-to-date as of April 29.

    updates for installation media

I made some investigations about the updates to integrate to installation media.
    Following updates are available:

    943790
    2023591
    2495879 (superseded by 2604521)
    2496898
    2521168 (zh-hk language only)
    2525084
    2550631 (superseded by 2679255)
    2550648
    2561821 (x64 only)
    2604521
    2649909 (superseded by 2673007) x64 only
    2673007 (x64 only)
    2679255

I write down all the kb# even if they are superseded, you will need all the kb articles to know how to install them. I want to point out that 2496898, 2550648 and 2604521 all contain

    windows-imagebasedsetup-media

This package will not install on any windows version, but it updates boot.wim image 2
I don’t’ know if the other packages of this updates are also needed for the boot.wim. Since none of those updates is superseded, I note them all.

I want to point out that the original idea was from ricktendo64 last summer.

Careful integrating hotfixes into boot.wim, I remember doint this and breaking it

Edit: BTW komm you think you can add a /Offline switch to KUC so that it leaves out hotfixes that the integration is not recommended (KB2506143, KB2533552, KB2603229, etc.)

The "offline switch" is on the plan.
There are also some other changes needed.
    1. you can add as many updates as you want at one time.
    2. you have to run "remove old" first.
    3. don't install the updates you list.
    4. run the cyle more then once.
    5. some ie8 packages can not be removed; maybe the best is, not to remove any IE8 package.
    ...
if anybody has other ideas, please post.

btw did you try the new cabs switch? Did not get an answer.

Not office but /Offline, as in mounted image (the opposite of online)

    And yes, /OnlyCabs works perfect!
