I said KB2416400 is big IE8 update... it pretty much updates EVERY component from IE8 (where KB2398632 only updates one component), so if you have IE8 you should obviously install this update.

Thank you for the update. Only a question: I see KB 959162, KB978330, KB981275, KB982316, KB2223201 and KB2280758 in Remover superseded list but they are still present in SoLor's updates list, even if most of them for x86 only. Actually after the .cmd is executed they're no more present in my Win7 x86

Seems like you must have installed update KB1000003. That update is known to be 'broken' and as such is placed in the broken folder.

That update was only an internal update, suggested to be possibly a test update that they just happened to use the current build of solitaire that was floating around. Either the newer build of solitaire is buggy, or the test installer is. Basically don't install it.

Any other 'test' updates are fine.

:D What I would suggest is install each update individually, and give each update a week or two of use -- if you notice no ill effects, install the next one and give that one a week or two of experiental use. By the time you have the 364 current updates tested, Windows 9 will be out ;)

Kidding aside, the fact that there are no KB articles out about certain updates is really because we're in a luxury position here, isn't it? So we take having no KB articles in stride.

Good enough for you, good enough for me. I asked not you specifically, but in general. I found it not on MS first, reason for the post. Please disregard the ocd'ishness.

My point is, unless there is KB article nobody cant tell you, unless you think that Windows development team is browsing this forums and dealing with our problems :)

So it looks like no SP1 before Christmas. Probably early January then, eh?

Is it me or did they just start running ads in this place?
