I was just trying anything...... Thanks ricktendo64; below works best for me and all the .Net4.5 beta, including KB2705004, installed without issue. Code: netfx_Full_x64.msi EXTUI=1 /update "D:\Win7(x64)_Microsoft\RunTimes\.NET Framework 4.5 Beta\NDP45-KB2705004-x64\NDP45-KB2519265.msp" I integrate the msp's for Adobe Acrobat 10, so, know how to do it, but, like this better. What is it the installer is looking for but can't find to cause the failure-curious; I can think of many things, but, you obviously know. ...new version is 4.5.50132.
i could be completely wrong about this, but in looking more closely at KB2649909, i noticed that one of the files it contains (bootmgfw.efi) replaces the one included in KB2561821. so given that KB2649909 only partially supersedes KB2561821, im wondering whether it wouldnt be a good idea to make a note in the repository clarifying on the proper order that these two should be integrated to an install source.
I guess only SoLoR can answer that one! Patch Tuesday updates will be released in less than 24 hours, then the monthly bulk updates will probably be maybe within a week after? (it may be longer), in any case its the scanning, requesting, sorting, checking, and uploading that takes times (especially after the bulk updates), and SoLoR has said before he has limited time these days to do it properly.
Can somebody describe a little tutorial, hot to use KUC with offline images, for example how to make from untoched MSDN source to fully updated image, i am also interested how to prepare needed hotfixes sine i use WinKit because i integrate in 3 images (starter, homepremium, professional) in same way same drivers, tweaks etc.
Maybe I'm wrong. Will there be a new version of Silverlight today? If I remember correctly there is a security issue.
Definitely not! That makes not sense. Most of the hotfixes came out in the days after Patch Tuesday, so why doing the work twice. and don't forget the time to sleep and walk the dog.
