Ok thanks, you could put these updates in the "WU Satisfy" folder (2604115, 2618451, 2619339, 2621440, 2656356, 2658846, 2667402, 2675157, 2676562, 2688338, etc...)
Sorry bapt, but you just must read the answer is just in your question. it says remove 2693391. 251992 replace it with version 6.1.2.0; that means uninstall the old version and install the new version 254569 replace it with version 6.1.1.5; that means uninstall the old version and install the new version 260329 remove the GDR part of this update NOT the LDR part also in the kuc output file is a column KUC-State : do that with the update!! If it says remove => uninstall the update. if it says add => install this update if it says add/remove => uninstall the old version and install the new version And if the KUC state says OK => you do not have to do or ask anything. It is not that hard to understand. May be better you let KUC do the work for you. If you do not follow what KUC says you may get a system with BSOD.
Hope you downloaded it recently, I just updated the .net4.5 slimmer 3 days ago (found couple extra entries to delete) BTW I think the .net4 msi's are used for uninstall?
thanks joflomo but the KB2693391 is not superseded, any update replaces this KB KB2545698 does not have the same files as the KB2693391 Ok, I have removed the old update and replace by new ex: removed 2519922_old and Add 2519922_new, right? And what update (LDR) replaces KB2603229 (GDR)? Thanks PS: With KUC, we can know what update is "Satisfy WU" and can be removed (if we don't use WU)?
No, but, I will right away; still the previous worked just GREAT!, .NET 4.5 beta uninstalled through normal Programs and Features to install the RC, I use Code: netfx_Full_x64.msi EXTUI=1 to install 4.5 because I use your dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64_SlimSetup.exe to install 4.0. It all went flawlessly.
No kidding; BAPT, this thread is literally polluted with your redundant posts; you thank nobody for anything, but, expect a lot of people to do your leg work for you. Use KUC or don't, use WU, or don't; but, please read the FAQ's and user manuals komm and others have made available before you post. It's got to the point where one has to wade through pages of your irresponsible humdrum to get at anything meaningful.
I thank each time (must open our eyes), I say where there are errors or omissions KUC, said that the KB2693391 should be removed (replaced by the KB2545698) whereas it is 2 updates not the same files (compared with the old, I had not seen the new) I am sorry to not understand English very well, so when I have my doubts, I demand, that's normal, right? If you follow a topic in a language you do not understand, you will be happy that helps you, without being criticize So when I ask a question and no answer, I ask
@bapt you do not read: the msg dose not say 2693391 is replaced by 2545698 it says: if you want to install 2545698 version 6.1.1.5, you must first uninstall 2693391. If you had read komm's faq about those 2 updates, you would know why. and if RickSteele says you do not thank he means you should use the thanks button!
I read the FAQ, but I will integrate the updates, this problem does not concern me And the message says You must remove 2693391 to install 2545698 Version 6.1.1.5! " I understand that I had to remove KB2693391, to install KB2545698 I had not realized it was the race for "thanks"
It's not a race for "thanks"... It's just that it is considered polite to thank somebody when they have done something that has helped you in some way.
this is the reason why I thank in my post and not with the "thanks" button (too impersonal) I thank with the button when it's "post general", maybe I'm wrong
You only get this message, if you use KUC for online installations. If you want to do a DVD ingetration start KUC with the /DVD-image-dir: switch read the FAQ about DVD integration
How to enable Continue button? 1 Jun 2012 I sent questions on KUC.betaATgooglemail.com, but not received a response. So I ask a questions here. 1. 1 file missing - KB976932. He really needed? How to enable Continue button? 2. And one example. In my system installed next hotfixes (from solor's repo updates.mihgroup.eu.org) : 18/04/2011 09:27 258,192 Windows6.1-KB2511962-x86.msu <assemblyIdentity name="Microsoft-Windows-Bowser" version="6.1.7601.21666" processorArchitecture="x86" language="neutral" buildType="release" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" versionScope="nonSxS" /> 11/08/2011 07:52 304,955 Windows6.1-KB2560452-x86.msu <assemblyIdentity name="Microsoft-Windows-SMB10-MiniRdr" version="6.1.7601.21782" processorArchitecture="x86" language="neutral" buildType="release" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" versionScope="nonSxS" /> 15/02/2012 07:59 241,380 Windows6.1-KB2646563-x86.msu <assemblyIdentity name="Microsoft-Windows-SMB20-MiniRdr" version="6.1.7601.21866" processorArchitecture="x86" language="neutral" buildType="release" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" versionScope="nonSxS" /> 18/11/2011 07:56 253,375 Windows6.1-KB2563210-x86.msu <assemblyIdentity name="Microsoft-Windows-SMBMiniRdr" version="6.1.7601.21792" processorArchitecture="x86" language="neutral" buildType="release" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" versionScope="nonSxS" /> But your KUC download in repo Windows6.1-KB2511455-x86.msu <assemblyIdentity name="Microsoft-Windows-Bowser" version="6.1.7601.21666" processorArchitecture="x86" language="neutral" buildType="release" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" versionScope="nonSxS" /> <assemblyIdentity name="Microsoft-Windows-SMB10-MiniRdr" version="6.1.7601.21666" processorArchitecture="x86" language="neutral" buildType="release" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" versionScope="nonSxS" /> <assemblyIdentity name="Microsoft-Windows-SMB20-MiniRdr" version="6.1.7601.21666" processorArchitecture="x86" language="neutral" buildType="release" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" versionScope="nonSxS" /> <assemblyIdentity name="Microsoft-Windows-SMBMiniRdr" version="6.1.7601.21666" processorArchitecture="x86" language="neutral" buildType="release" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" versionScope="nonSxS" /> In my opinion KB2511455 useless in my system or I do not understand something?
Refering to McRip's repo: 03.06.2012 Updated: KB2545698 Removed: old KB2545698 What is changing between the new KB2545698 and the old one? It appears that the new one downloaded from McRip's repo is same as the old one, as both of them were digitally signed at June 15, 2011. Could anyone clarify please? Thanks.
Updated the SatisfyWU folders in the repo. These updates oughta be all necessary updates to satisfy the damn Windows Update. There will be no changelog for it. It will be updated from time to time, at least once per month. I did that because of many user requests. So take a look from time to time. Cheers. @burfadel. I got something for you. Just sorting it out. Will upload this special package for you tonight. Please then take a look at the file versions. Will pm you then when finished.
me too, I compared the two and I have not seen any difference For updates "Satisfy WU", you can, perhaps, take the list of Burfadel (available in the script) And I believe, 2545698 isn't "Satisfy WU"
