@t McRip, if solor has stopped working on his updates, is it possible for you to add your updates link on the first page or as a mirror? thanx again..for your hard work
Regarding Office 2010 Updates... Do I just put all the updates (SP1 & Post SP1) into the Updates folder of Office 2010? and what is the use of Files14.cat under CATALOG folder in the repo?
Put all post sp1 msp files into the Updates folder of the OFFICE 2010 DVD except the file OFV.msi and the Catalog folder with the Files14.cat. The OFV.msi is the "Microsoft Office File Validation Add-In", you have to run it by yourself. Or just download the exe file and run it by right-clicking and as Administrator and all updates will be installed automatically.
@komm Latest KUC for KB2545698 says OK/REMOVE LDR version present. You can REMOVE this GDR version, but I had to leave GDR in to satisfy WU on Win7 32-bit
Mine(version 0.8.5.22) actually says: KEEP this GDR update to avoid Windows message 'new updates are available'!
guys, i need hotfix "KB2547666" (Optional hotfix - It was removed from the list, but "Windows Update" requires it), , "KB2644615" (is on the list (txt), but not on the web - "Windows Update" requires it) and "KB2676562" (It was removed from the list, but "Windows Update" requires it). Thx for all and sorry my english
Here's the list I found to be required for WU: That is the list as it is in my installer (although I used notepad to make it more 'readable'). The three requested appear in this list.
Without mentioning "WU", none of these hotfix is replaced by another (if I looked correctly)? The term "Satisfy WU" can be confusing, Me, I had understood that the hotfix was just to satisfy WU, but offered no new update
Different definition! lol. What I describe as 'Satisfy WU' is all updates, superseded or not, where the GDR version is required so that nothing is reported by WU...
My MD5 is the same but I also noticed your output says "install pending" while mine says installed: 25456986.1.1.5InstalledUpdate6/20/2012 3:252545698 Windows6.1-KB2545698-x64.msu OK/GDRKEEP this GDR update to avoid Windows message 'new updates are available'!
Looks like you took your list from an online system. My list came from an offline integrated .wim. I just ran KUC again with a list from the online system and got the same remove I had before, but status installed . The only difference I can see is that I have 32-bit and you have 64-bit. I guess we'll have to let komm explain this one
I just now noticed the repository hasn't been updated in a while. Anyone know what happened to SoLoR?
