Windows 7 Hotfix repository

    7zip files updated.

    It has only the main updates from the main folder and the IE9 hotfix.

    the hotfix 2724781, 2727118, 2728738 are present (new hotfix) in the repo of komm and 2633127, 2691442, 2696718 are superseded (but present on your repo)

    @McRip If you'll make changes to your repository today (the day when the .7z files are published), please make a separate changelog for them, so it won't be confusing (some may think that those changes made AFTER the .7z were uploaded are included). Smth like 17.08.2012 v2 intro in the changelog.

    To be more precise:
    2724781 is superseded by 2731847
    2728738 (profsvc.dll, 6.1.7601.22055) is superseded by 2719375 (profsvc.dll, 6.1.7601.22056)

    What do you mean by that? I currently have on a system a windows 7 Home Premium x86 version, and Lsm.exe is present on it...

    I know that it is present on the machine, but today 7 told me it is not applicable., this specific version. I will recheck it tomorrow.

    Just checked the x86 version, it installed fine. However, this hotfix also needs some registry changes... Bleah :(

    Strange... Now it also installed fine on my machine... I will upload it tomorrow.

    You don't have to edit the registry. If you don't edit it, Windows will use the default time-out for the service. Just install, reboot and leave it as it is.

    But no for 2731847 :D

    2731847 (win32k, 6.1.7601.22060) is superseded by 2724781-v2 (win32k, 6.1.7601.22066)

    It's OK for 2727118, so

    And 2633127, 2691442, 2696718 are superseded, right?

    With so many hotfixes and updates, it can get confusing, which is why i believe it's time for MS to release SP2 soon!

    It would certainly make all our lives easier for awhile.
