Just when I thought I was a hacker, I found out my IP is not on the list. My IP is smth like 188.26.xxx.xxx. Still 403 error. Totally SNAFU this securing business...
Yep, now it works. However, I think your take is very wrong. If someone else found out about your servers not from this forum, and doesn't read this (and another one or two) forum(s), he just won't be able to download / access your servers. Hope you can trim down that long list, or ''unwanted'' IPs will be banned.
OK guys, I have trimmed the access file a little bit. Make sure you use a correct and original user agent for your browser. Make sure you have user agent (original) and it is not faked. Make sure you do not come over a proxy. Today I had around 25.000 break in attempts with methods I don't want to describe here. It is all f**ked up. Sorry for this bad way of expressing but it's the truth. Please do not blame me for this action I had to take. And I had to take some more actions that are effective before the webserver takes actions. Some people in the internet want the server to be down, for good. It's better to be secure than to be down. And please IP's over PM only.
I just wanted to sort the files on your site by date and get your red warning site, only by clicking on "Last modified" ...
Everything should work correctly now. I've just forgotten a simple "freaking" . (dot). Enjoy yourself
WindowsXP-KB2732488-v2-x86-ENU it's been around for a while. Or do you have, as usual, a newer v3 version or smth? Thanks.
