Hi and Merry Christmas to you all ....

Can someone help me with this? I can't get the GDR version integrated in my offline wim. The LDR version installs, but the GDR does not. This is one of those to install to satisfy WU. The rest of the fixes from the December scan installed without a hitch. Here's the error I see running update_Normal.cmd from KUC

    Code:
    Processing 1 of 1 - Adding package Package_for_KB2758857~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~6.1.1.0
    An error occurred - Package_for_KB2758857 Error: 0x80070490

    Error: 1168

    Element not found.

The DISM log shows a completely different KB as the error.
    Code:
    2012-12-25 01:04:28, Error CBS Failed to resolve package 'Package_3_for_KB2615701~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~6.1.2.0' [HRESULT = 0x80070490 - ERROR_NOT_FOUND]

the two updates have comment components.. maybe this is why the conflict happened
    try to install them separately

also, did you install the servicing stack update "KB2533552" in the offline wim?

"KB2533552" is not integrateable to offline image.

What do you mean by comment components?

What do you mean by install them seperately?
I only tried installing one last fix - KB2758857 which resulted in the dism error related to KB2615701 as mentioned above.

The service stack fix cannot be included in an offline image and I always install it via SetupComplete.cmd when installing fresh.

comment components = both update shared components

    in that case, sorry o_O

i know, but updating the service stack firstly may narrow down the errors

Although this hotfix is superseded, in certain cases, it's needed to satisfy Windows Update.
