Ok, What is the command for dism? Thanks so much PS: I can just install the new IE for having the 10.0.4 or should I also install KB2817183 I do not really understand, the new IE10 has the same KB number as the old
another funny twist to this tale... I went ahead and did a bunch of updates today on a seldomly used laptop.... it has Intel 915GM graphics and therefore cannot support aero... installing KB2670838 and/or IE10 should have no problems right? WRONG. Run calculator and the graphics in it are all jacked up.... the display portion (where you see them digits) is transparent and typing anything in results in garbage that just stays there even after you clicked "clear" the 915GM is the oldest intel graphics that MS has official drivers for.... Intel didn't even release the drivers to public, they just handed them off to MS and had it released on Windows Update as their official WDM/approved drivers... you think that it won't have any problems with the platform update or IE10, but that's not true... this just proves how seriously buggy the platform update is!
I've been away for the last week and a bit (last minute thing), am getting back on Friday, I'll update the installer/uninstaller then
