From an elevated command prompt, type in: Code: fsutil resource setautoreset true c:\ C:\ is the one you want to do, but it won't hurt doing it on all NTFS drives (just replace c:\ with e:\ etc). Also, entering c: etc will not work, you must also enter it as c:\ etc. Restart, then try installing again.
@McRip couldn't find the ReadMe.txt for KB2819745 Windows Management Framework 4.0 Preview as stated in your changelog
Code: Make sure you uninstall Windows Management Framework 3.0 and all related updates and hotfixes before installing 4.0. Also make sure that the prerequisite .NETFRAMEWORK 4.5 is installed. Windows Management Framework 4.0 Preview includes updates to Windows PowerShell, Windows PowerShell ISE, Windows PowerShell Web Services (Management OData IIS Extension), Windows Remote Management (WinRM), Windows Management Infrastructure (WMI), the Server Manager WMI provider, and a new feature for 4.0, Windows PowerShell Desired State Configuration (DSC). Supported Operating System: Windows 7 Service Pack 1, Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, Windows Server 2012 Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.
Thanks, but it isn't in the main folder either. Or am I missing something (a change that happened very recently)? BTW, I tried a build with IE10, and now I get in WU ~ 30 updates instead of ~ 7 with IE9. I am reffering of course to updates that are needed just to satisfy WU. WU is very weird in W7.
Also, KB2804579 x64 is in the x86 satisfy WU folder and the x86 version is in the x64 folder. And their also in the main folder, this time in their correct architecture destined folder. The same for KB2836943 - in both main and satisfy WU folders, x86 in the x64 and viceversa for satisfy WU. They maybe it should be in the Satisfy WU? I got it in my ''GDR'' WU window.
KB2840947 and KB2839229 has the same LDR version (6.1.7601.22318) if you install KB2839229 LDR branch, KB2839229 will show in WU if you install KB2840947, KB2813170 is the one showed in WU
Looks like I had an addon integrated in my offline image, that managed to f**k up WU because it included a very old version of .net 4.0 that it installed silently. That is most likely why I had so much KBs appear up in the WU window, although on the GDR path, and probably also the reason I got KB2839229. I'll be back on this one. However, KB2804579 and KB2836943 problem is still not solved - they're both in the Satisfy WU folder and the main folder, and also in the satisfy WU folder they don't have the right architecture. See attached.
