KB2859537 is a kernel update, which may expose errata (bugs) in the processor of your PC. Dunno but hope hes not hospitalized again. Wonder what is it about MS Updates that repo guys go missing. My theories: A) They get tired of updating and BS and silently quit. B) Can no longer afford server costs. C) Busy personal life D) MS Buys them off? E) Alien abduction?
To reduce server costs, you only need to provide links to the exe and 'express cab' (WU satisfaction) downloads, and have a personal local repository. The only time you need to host them is if the links go dead, or you could then link the files to a place like dropbox. The Windows update satisfaction method is likely to be overhauled when he gets back (hopefully he does this), as Microsoft have now given us a better method. I'm in the process of updating the script to support this. It will also mean that I won't have to update the script each month just for the WU entries .

Windows 3.5 is built into Windows 8 (but disabled by default,) go to 'Turn Windows features on or off' and activate it
Or use DISM to do it offline . Spoiler Code: dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFX3 /Source:X:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess where 'X' is the mounted ISO or DVD.
