@bapt, the files in KB2864432 are older (v. 22368) than those in the WU security update MS13-063 KB2859537 (v. 22379)

KB2859537 is a kernel update, which may expose errata (bugs) in the processor of your PC.

These are listed by the processor manufacturers and usually worked around by loading microcode when the PC starts. This modifies the behaviour of the processor to avoid the errata.

If you have problems with KB2859537, it may be worth either getting the latest BIOS for your PC from your PC or motherboard manufacturer, or trying the microcode hotfixes listed in the following KB articles:

    Intel processor: KB2493989

    AMD processor: KB2739143 or KB2818604

Dunno but hope hes not hospitalized again. Wonder what is it about MS Updates that repo guys go missing. My theories:

    A) They get tired of updating and BS and silently quit.
    B) Can no longer afford server costs.
    C) Busy personal life
    D) MS Buys them off?
    E) Alien abduction? :D

To reduce server costs, you only need to provide links to the exe and 'express cab' (WU satisfaction) downloads, and have a personal local repository. The only time you need to host them is if the links go dead, or you could then link the files to a place like dropbox. The Windows update satisfaction method is likely to be overhauled when he gets back (hopefully he does this), as Microsoft have now given us a better method. I'm in the process of updating the script to support this. It will also mean that I won't have to update the script each month just for the WU entries :).

Ricktendo, with your latest version of Net 4.5, all updates are displayed in "display installed updates"

    View attachment 23073

    Is this normal?
With previous versions, it was not displayed (it was better for me :p)

Windows 3.5 is built into Windows 8 (but disabled by default,) go to 'Turn Windows features on or off' and activate it
