I just tested it w/ the hotfixes in question in both VM & new setup. In both cases, my WD usb backup drive was not detected/recognized under window explorer. I also tested it without KB2895729-v2 & KB2533552 but included KB2862330-v2...in both VM & live system, my WD usb backup drive was detected. In my case, I will put KB2895729-v2 in the folder(not integratable to offline image).

Hello!Sorry if I ask you these 2 probably silly questions but I came accross this excellent tool only yesterday:1) how can I update my copy of Office 2010? From the Download Lists option there's only Office 2013 (32 and 64 bit).2) after choosing my OS (Windows 7 32bit) this tool gave me a huge list of Windows Updates (545 files), some of which were released even in 2011. So how can I chose the right ones? Maybe I should opt for the most recent HOTFIX update files only: is that right? Can't wait to hear from you.

After reading your post, I decided to retest it to see if doing a second reboot will correct the problem. Sure enough, it works.

Office 2010 is currently not supported. If someone picks up the duty to maintain a list for it then it will be added.
You should get everything in General, Hotfix and Security categorys as these should cover most things. Only thing i would reccommend from additional category is IE11 and prerequisites. Unless you use more advanced tools liks IIS and such. Nothing from Extra.

OK...thanks for your reply! If I'm not wrong the previous version of this tool actually supported Office 2010: is that right? As for W7 updates... you are suggesting me to download all 545 updates...alright?Just wonder why similar tools like PatchMyPC or Windows Updates itself show me just 7 important updates which must be installed now...

    Not sure about previos versions.
And no. When you select the mentioned categories in WHD you should get around 400+ updates not 500+.
Reason why WU shows far less updates than WHD is because WU only offers the most generic and widespread updates. And often stuff that is actually already outdated...

the taskhost.exe file is older than the one installed...

Older than what exactly? KB2786081 is the only update that has newer taskhost.exe

Is someone want to make a archive (7z, rar, zip, etc.) Which contain updates post SP1 for Windows 7 till January 2014? Last week, i've tried to download it with "Windows Hotfix Downloader", but it's very slow, only downloaded 67 updates for 2 hours while my bandwidht is time limited to 9 AM and it's already 08.59, so i've to cancel the download.

Please, if someone's very kind, please make the archive which contain updates for Windows 7(since SP1, not all) till January 2014. I know the size will be big, but please... I'll be very grateful :worthy:

    @abboddi1406

    1. Why KB2746119 for x64 isn't downloaded by WHD?

    2. Please also look into 2483564 and 2492386 - do they belong in ''main'' folder (for x64)?

    Thanks :)

    1. It's downloading here, but latest WHD build has a bug and it deletes first downloaded update

    2. 2492386 is a Compatibility Update, it's "almost' superseded, but it has one active valid component

for x64 client 2483564 is a regular hotfix
and after checking, it's superseded by 2799925-v2 + 2813430 (if installed in LDR)
so i think it's safe to remove it :)

    With KB2483564-v2, I see "mscep.dll", and I don't find this file in KB2799925-v2 or KB2813430

Maybe that's the point, maybe there's no reason to keep that ''one active valid component'', as three similar app compatibility updates, all say in their article they've replaced / superseded 2492386. The three updates are 2820331, 2762895 and 2791765.

So if you ask me, I think it's safe to also delete this one, but you know better. :)

Also, abbodi, I have a (hopefully) small request: can you please move 2857650 from main folder to RDP / RDC 8.1? There are four reasons behind: 1. It may still (like other RDP 8.0 / 8.1 updates) generate issues with Win Toolkit (when integrated); 2. It's mainly RDP related, although can also be considered valid for ''normal'' windows components; 3. It was retracted by Microsoft; 4. Issue and Error are the most used words in its KB article :(
