Any suggestion for those vc redist installers? I'm still using mcrip's but he doesn't seem to maintain it anymore. His seem most complete too..
it used to accept: /s REBOOT=Suppress WEB_JAVA=1 ADDLOCAL=ALL IEXPLORER=1 MOZILLA=1 SYSTRAY=0 JAVAUPDATE=0 JU=0 AUTOUPDATECHECK=0 but not any longer it seems.. hmm..
Sorry it's my fault for asking and getting you guys into this. I didn't find the post insulting though. He just shared his experience..
I thought the 'he rarely updates it' was a bit irky when I read it, but not very overtly so (just my opinion). Perhaps he just meant to say that he wasn't sure if Burf's installer was always up to date, or was warning the other person that it might be harder to determine or keep up with or something in that vain (otherwise why would he stop using it if he would know it to be up to date?). But I could not find anything he did in the other thread unless it was talking about multi-threaded downloading, which one would have to be a bit oversensitive to construe that as a criticism of WHD... I mean, I don't even see how that applies. Downloaders like DownThemAll! are used for multi-threaded downloading (I like it) and it can serve to maximize your broadband in some situations. How that applies to WHD (if that is what this is about) I just don't see. He even mentioned it could be problematic whereas he did not say that about WHD. Anyway, let's not be too mean to each other, even if strictly speaking it is 'correct' it doesn't serve toward any greater good to do so. If it was about anything else, I'm sorry, I must have missed it. Personally, I think WHD is great and the work everyone is doing is great. Certainly no one has the right to disrespect that. Perhaps 'tomorrow' wants to clarify?

Is someone will have a batch to integrate hotfix in "Offline" but in GDR mode (I already have a batch for "LDR") Or how to make a batch from this command dism /image:\Offline\Mount /add-package /packagepath:\Offline\Windows6.1-KB******-x64.msu Thanks so much for your help
There is no GDR/LDR mode for Windows 8 as far as I know. You just use the command line you posted and it all gets installed as it was meant to-from what I have learned from the posts in this and other threads
