Anybody have all the latest 'original' 2012 and 2013 vc runtimes installers extracted from the new visual studio releases would be so kind and share those with me?
Just a question regarding IE11: I saw on MS-Update-Catalog KB2929437 has been replaced by KB2987107; after that I downloaded the last IE11-updates from WHD and saw KB2929437 is still present. After the last MS-disaster from last week a serious question: what is right, MS or WHD? TNX, Thiersee
KB2929437 actually replaced by KB2976627 two months before, but at that time WU still showing/require them both i haven't check WU this month, but i will remove KB2929437 and see if it will show in WU Edit: Confirmed, KB2929437 is officially superseded in WU thanks Thiersee
2014/10/21: Spoiler Added: Code: 2974617 2997842 Superseded: Code: 2848224 (by 2997842) 2894906 (by 2974617)
@Burfadel, in your experience, is there a best way to add office applications to a clean install of windows 7 or 8. Precisely, I also install, project, visio in addition to office plus. Is it best to to do one first and then the other? I want to make my updates after install as few as possible. I think some updates from one product sometimes overwrites that of another. Thanks.
msvcr71.dll is not included in burfadel's package. Maybe your PowerDVD installation is corrupt - or just deleted the file / replaced with much older version. BTW, you can extract the file from the latest hotfix KB932298 and put the file (with msvcp71.dll, too) in your app installation folder - or system32 (Windows x86)/sysWOW64 (Windows x64) folder.
It's okay, I am used Ricktendo's VC++ Basic package, which does include msvcr71.dll and PowerDVD 11 is working now.
Only the title on the Adobe page is true, the downloaded EXEs are both version 15.0.0.189! Regards, Thiersee
