I'll post a Service Pack 1 version of the superseded update uninstaller once SoLoR has updated the repository. I'll compare the respository to the updates that Sweetsmile posted earlier so any superseded updates that exist so far will be added to the list. I'll keep this uninstaller up to date each time replacement updates and superseded info becomes available. I just haven't posted any yet as there are only a couple of entries so far on the list
i mean a tool that scans a folder of hotfixes .msu or .cab's and removes any that have been superseded.
Ah I see! That seems simple enough, I'll add that feature as an option in the old update remover. It makes sense to add it there since the superseded lists will be the same.
I tested the Installer For Windows Updates V10, after installation, Updates are KBxxxxx_BF Why? thanks
It means for those updates, the LDR version was specifically installed instead of the GDR version of the same update.
Ok... from all those updates on x64 there is 12 not applicible in any case, 2 are applicible if you have NFS installed and 1 for MSMQ. List will come tomorrow, not sure if ill upload them because i think there are still issues with ftp. I can only do 4-5 commands at once, then it server reaches certain ports that are blocked and i need to wait for timeouts and updating 4-5 files every ~5min its just not fun
How long do you have to wait? What, exactly, is the cmd saying it's doing? You are putting only .msp files in the x64 folder? Does your extracted folder look like the attached jpeg's? Perhaps their is somethiong wrong with your msp files-corrupted maybe...? I would ensure Windows6.1-KB958488-v6001-x64 is installed prior to using the installer.
Actually EXTUI=1 is only to allow direct install VIA the MSI, not really needed if SoLoR applied the MST from Aaron Stebner that allows this @SoLoR, you can always zip and upload it elsewhere
Either and/or....the cmd file just automates it; you can double click the msi file for each if you wish.
After sorting the updates and combining them (SoLoR's & Sweetmile's) I was left with 96 of them for x64, just did a build and integrated them, and installed after and all updates are showing. Strange thing is, it showed 97 installed updates, not 96 Haven't sorted out what the odd one out is tho. My build number showed 7601.21649.amd64fre.win7sp1_ldr.110125-1530
A fresh install of an integrated SP1 with no updates will show the servicing stack update as having been installed on Nov. 20.
