If you mean updates offered by WHDownloader or KUC, all are post-SP1

Yes, I intend to download updates using WHD. How I can identify the Post-SP1 updates? There are other folders with updates to download, I need to select only some updates or include them all? It is the first time I'll use WHD.

For Win 7 my best results had been with SIMPLIX-Pack so far :good3:. All other attempts only lead to vastly bloated WIMs (that unfortunatly can't be resetbased).

Luckily the offline integration knows wildcard '*', to service all Indices :flowers2:.

Where I can get SIMPLIX-Pack? Can this be used if I need to create my Windows 7 USB Bootable in another language?

Yeah, this time is an exception

there were other botched updates before, but i think this the first time MS release a fix to uninstall it
which means the issue is very serious :D

I'm not sure about the "blocked" issue, but yes, you don't need these cabs if you don't want to use WU

what do you mean to turn off? WU?

Ok, no need that I installed these .cab then

It's been 2 or 3 times, when I uninstall multiple hotfixes at the same time (usually every month after the update of your repo)
The PC stuck on this picture (screen above) and I 'm forced to shut down the PC manually (press and hold the power button)

    Thanks :)

abbodi, when I use the LDR>GDR install scripts to certain updates (in VM, for sysprep) I get a number of them offered in WU still, even though installed (this is normal, I know). What I'm wondering, should I just install those particular updates in GDR only mode, or is there a benefit in the sense of 'updatedness' to apply the LDR install script to these first, and then install them again either via WU or GDR script? I guess I was wondering if the updates that appear on WU despite being already installed, might even benefit from being installed in LDR mode. Another thing I'm wondering about is whether it might theoretically bloat the install.wim to have to install these updates twice to satisfy WU.

Technically, LDR and GDR could be considered as separate updates themselves
so, when WU asks for update that was installed in LDR, it's like asking for different update

regarding the bloat, when installing LDR branch, only LDR components (files) are copied to the system
whereas when installing the normal GDR branch, both GDR and LDR components are copied to the system

And the MS "never ending story" goes on:

WU is asking today for KB3011970 again (installs version 5.1.31211.0)....

gdiplus.dll file version mentioned on KB3015692 MS support site is 5.2.7601.22863. However the patch downloaded from the hotfix server contains file version 6.1.7601.22862, so KB3015692 (5.2)+KB3013126 (6.1) supersede KB2965705 (5.2,6.1).
