Yes, installed post install Try using George King's update.exe and run that over all the updates you integrated (in the same folder). It will only take a few mins as it skips over already installed updates very quickly. After installation, check the installed updates through the controlled panel, sort by date installed, and see what updates were installed. According to Solor's updates.htm list: KB983401 Windows-OS-Kernel 6.1.7600.20714 If your version is older than that, you are installing a superceded update (most likely)
Ok, thx SoLor for replay, In my country Poland I can integrate 278 hotfixes in x86 and 283 in x64 include cab files. It's really work, good luck SoLor !!
So, what do people think are the reasons behind no recent Zukobonus packs? Is it simply because there are only a small handful of new updates so they're holding off releasing a pack, or is it because they no longer have access (temporary or otherwise) to the updates, many of which are not available by any other means...
@SOLOR, Recently KB982526 has been pushed to WU which is actually KB958488 and KB979900. Even though KB979900 has been superceeded by KB981429 in your pack it is still showing in WU. Is there anyway to add a registry entry via dism to hide this update?
Does running: Sfc /scannow or running 'update': KB947821-v5 System Update Readiness Tool change anything? The last isn't an update, its a scan and repair tool and Microsoft says its normal for it to appear like its not progressing for extended periods (15 minutes or more).
Is there any other tool that doesn't require W7. I just need a tool to slip stream those hotfixes and updates to w7 dvd in XP environment. Is it possible? Thanks again
Im quiet sure all this tools depends on dism that is part of Win7/Vista... im not sure if you can run those tools on Win XP but if you can i can give you simple intergration script for intergrating this updates that im using.
Links are working for me... i mean if something does not work, give it a day, might be problems with your ISP DNS/routing...
Thanks SoLoR, I'm gonna give it a try and update W7 ISO with it. P.S. what other hotfixes do you recommend to download besides the June/10th UpdatePack? And which of them were superseded?
Thanks a lot SoLoR. Just a few general questions: - I don't know which hotfixes are obsolete after 06/10, so does it make a problem having both an obsolete/supersede hotfix and a newer one? Downloaded 06/10 pack and I queued newer hotfixes in flashget atm. - How much free space should I consider for integration if I want an updated Ultimate version? and slipstream time estimation on a core2 system.
