KB4055002 was causing issues, so i replaced it with security-only KB4054183 KB4054981 replace all KB4055002/KB4054183/KB4074880
Hmmmm, last time I tried it, I got those messages. I think the error I got is related to using http vs. https. I just tried it again and today it redirects to the https link I posted which it did not do the other day when I got those errors.

I have a Dell laptop with Intel processor running Windows 7 x64bit. I have not run windows update for a few months, but would like to safely update thru the Dec2017 Security Monthly Quality Rollup. (avoiding the Jan 2018 ones). Do you think it is safe to do that? And where could I download the Dec2017 rollup? Thanks
you shouldn't avoid the last jan updates, because they fixed a lot of issues caused by decemeber and the first jan updates.
