Windows 7 updates cannot be applied to Windows 8.1 images. "Image Version: 6.3.9600.17246" is Windows 8.1.
hmmmm. KB4512506 isnt installing for me. reverts at boot/login.. Anyone got any tips? Maybe there is some prequisit i have to install beforehand? any help would be aprichiatet THX
I can't install kb4512506. Windows update fails to install it by itself with error 80092004. Downloading it from the update catalog and installing it by hand also fails, with no error, just a message that it failed to install. Any ideas? Would simplix pack help me?
tried installing the Update but it says "The update does not apply to your system". I do have an ASUS Motherboard.. Since it was mentioned that this update made some ASUS Boards unbootable.. quote: I guess the best way is to back up all my tweaks and stuff and just make me a new Up to Date ISO.... Do you confirm that you have these already installed? SSU KB4490628 SHA256 KB4474419-v2 Boot KB3133977 maybe your issue is related to WinSxS stor curruption

KB4474419-v2 and v1 are the same, but it's best to install v2 try system update readiness tool KB947821
Ok, downloading "Windows6.1-KB947821-v34-x64.msu" now... its a big one... Ill make a backup first, better to be safe well, it took way longer then before.. It hung at 91% at login screen for about 30 minutes, then jumped to 97% and got the "error configuring updates, rolling back" again... i try 2 more things i was reading and when this does not bring any solution i will just Reinstall a Clean Windows..
