Hello guys. Could someone help me? I'm braziliand and new here, but I think what you they do is amazing. What I want to know is if there is a list or something like that contains the list of all the updates of windows 7 that I must install to make it as complete and updated as possible. I know that there are ready-made tools for this, but I wanted a list of all that I should install, because I know that some updates are not necessary and many were packaged in another major update by microsoft. Could someone help me, indicate if it exists and links? And if have something like for windows 8 and 8.1?
Anyone still have Hotfix Windows6.1-KB2727107-v3-x86.msu? i only need the x86 file thanks Edit: found it
after last year oct windows update, my removeable sata drive cant detect when i reconnect, now i still stuck in last year sept update, every month I update problem come back. Anyone have any solution or having the same problem?
That's because the updates are cumulative. Every next update contains the changes from the previous ones. By "removable" you mean external e-SATA drive?
I might be completely wrong, but I don't remember regular SATA being hot-swap capable. It would either not be at all, or it would be an option in the bios and then it would probably be a per port option.
Nothing need discussion or inspection it merely add the same licenses and updated pkeyconfig to support ESU years 4/5/6, that were added to Monthly Rollup in July same for Win 8.1 one
maybe. if that's so, what's the difference then anyways update catalog changes from generic name security update to esu licensing prep package, for windows 7. are esu licensing updates not hosted on windows update? i checked for updates multiple times but it says i have none. i had to manually download and install the update and it worked successfully. no restart. probably similar to how normal users back when windows 7 went eol did not get this update. wu displays this update as security update for w7 still
If you install fresh, you need to install the license prep package so Windows will take your ESU key. You cannot install the CUs containing the LPP without an ESU license. The LPP exists to break through a hen-and-egg problem.
