Metadata update also missing for 2022-10 KB5018547.NET Rollup on Win7. Win8 problem described by abbodi1406 here.
So KB5013637 on Win7 is still needed to satisfy WU even though superseded,

    - Each of OOB updates and each of security only updates are separate updates (i.e. not chained or replace others directly)

    - yes, KB5020448 is not needed
the TLS fix it contain is available with Monthly Rollup or 2022-11 Security Only KB5020013

    - all OOB updates released after 2016-10 are superseded for non Monthly Rollup users, except:
    KB4508772
    KB4539602 (for non ESU)

    - These Security Only updates are superseded by other SO updates:
    KB3212642, KB3205394, KB4054521, KB4284867, KB4338823, KB4343899, KB4462915, KB4471328, KB4480960, KB4486564, KB4592503, KB4601363, KB5000851, KB5008282
    KB4503269 (if KB4508772 is used)
    KB4534314 (if KB4539602 is used)
    x64 only - post 2024-10:
    KB4525233, KB5035919

Always install the msu updates (if not already installed)

for exe updates, if you have .NET 4.8 then install ndp48-xxxx
    otherwise, install ndp47-xxxx

The .NET Security and Quality Rollup (KB5017529) link ( above) leads to the September 13th 2022 .NET Rollup ?????

Ooops .... I did not look close enough. Mentioned previously about this superseded update being re-offered.

KUC hasn't been updated since May, so what it tells you is not current.

GetPackages.cmd isn't updated, it just uses Microsoft dism to list the installed packages along with any supersedence info

I thought you were also using UpdateChecker.exe which is database related and gives you the latest on the status of your installed updates.

No sure how reliable the state information is on supersedence from just using the packages.txt.
