Well you tecnicaly cant just discard LDR placeholders, unless you install with update-bf.mum/update.mum method thats why they are seperated... about other updates that suppose to be missing, i didnt check all but i did have random 10 of them downloaded at one point and didnt include them for a reason... reason usualy is: IE8 updates (since im not supporting it, if you want to run this hotfixes then my guess is you also want to have latest IE so...), updates that suppose to have same components and versions (for example update KBX have win32k build X and update KBY have same win32k build X, since they are same versions you can install both updates however its not neccessery) and in last batch for example it was one update that installed even tho it was superseeded. It was GDR/LDR brach of kernel and tcp/ip driver in one update, however i decided to install LDR update of kernel and tcpip seperatly but that GDR/LDR hotfix was still applicible for unkown reason...

Thanks for correcting my mistake. Well, KB2518928 does not exist either in the main folder of SoLoR's repo. I did a rough comparision between JakeLD's list and SoLoR's repo. Besides KB2518928, other hotfixes applicable to Windows 7 are KB2519400, KB2519550, KB2521624 and KB2524668. Perhaps, someone else more knowledgable can verify my finding. Anyway, let's just wait for SoLoR updating the repo.
KB2503658(GDR/LDR) is newer then KB2518928(LDR), i could i guess replace KB973640 with KB2518928 but there is no real reason to do it. KB2519550 is shell32 dll build 6.1.7601.21687 so no reason to have both KB2519550 and KB2525332 since they are the same and i do have 2nd... KB2524668 gets superseeded by KB2526629-v3 so no idea how you can install it since i cant but i did miss KB2519400 and 2521624 somehow...
Edit: too slow to post ! Out of those 5 suggested updates, KB2519400 does. It does NOT supersede KB2506014, as KB2506014 contains additional files. KB2521624 does. No supersedence The others are 'older' than those in the repository The rest of the list may contain newer updates or updates that update more files, but I haven't checked those.
This update is KB2516405 + KB2525390 with addition of added GDR componenets, so even if its applicable its not needed.
If this is gone for good I'm more than happy to host the repo if need be - got big speedy hosting here.
Yes, I have that error show up in Event Viewer also. The fix is a script you have to run, not an actual hotfix?! I'm using MS integrated ISO's as well. I read some people who had integrated the iso themselves with SP1 (or installed it on live system) did not have this error show up, go figure... Some things about the MS integrated ISOs really come across shabby. MS integrated SP1 ISOs have so many registry errors present on clean installs... just CCleaner reg cleaner removes hundreds (like 250 to 300). In the past, I would use my array of favorite reg cleaners (ones proven to be safe) and would *maybe* get 400 to 500 errors. After SP1, after clean install, I have almost 1200... That is sick, those ISOs should not be so dirty.
Thanks for the tips, ricktendo64. I too have this error popping out regularly in Event Viewer, since I am using Windows 7 SP1 (MSDN) image. So, there is no hotfix for this issue. Is there a way to convert the script into a cmd or reg file, so that it can be integrated via RT 7 Lite? Thanks.
I'm not seeing this at all either way; whether I install my original DVD-SP0 and install SP1 after, or install Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 OEM integrated by M$ and downloaded from WZor's site. I run four registry cleaners including CCleaner, CleanMyPC - Registry Cleaner, Max Registry Cleaner and jv16 PowerTools 2011. After a fresh install I never have more than 300 total from all three. I forget where I read this, but, every reg cleaner is not the same; by that I mean amongst themselves they will list the detections differently so that one method of listing will show 50 errors while another will show only 15, but, both have detected the same number of errors. I've found that after capturing a sysprepped image, if you mount that image and it's three reg hives, you will have to modify the source disk pointers if you did everything from a separate partition. Further, after a fresh install you will find, if you used "copy profile", not all the %userprofile% settings migrate over in the registry; ie: Administrator to User 1....etc. (search and accelerator icon caches for example) and must be corrected manually. If you deploy the image from DVD and delete the OEM folder upon completion, the registry pointers remain-similarily from a server share if any files are copied to client and deleted, or if the server is hidden, goes offline when not required-system/admin only access. The most prevalent errors after a fresh install will be pointers to temp/tmp files extracted and used by whatever and deleted; file associations/feature lists that no longer exist or have been disabled offline in the creation of the final image.
