hm... pkgmgr version is original SP1... ye it seems like it doesnt get updated from new servicestack i think we should stop bothering to much with this or soon we will realize that every update forgets to update one or two files
Could any1 please "torrent" the updated Win7 SP1 Ultimate ISO? Would be much appreciated! SoLoR's still around. Kinda missed u, dude! Good to see u still alive. ;]
about the new ISO Windows 7 SP1 (with KB integrated) is to fix the bug related to USB? I don't really understand why MS made this new ISO, if you install this KB on the old ISO, is the same, no? if someone can explain
Yes its only that OOBE hotfix integrated and nothing else and reason why MS made new isos is probably because enough of people complained about this bug Tryed with msu instead of update.mum and still no go... dism doesnt error out for me on KB982018-v3 but it does on KB2319435 and KB2394535-v2 with "Access denied"... ill keep integration runing until the end, maybe they integrate anyway... also when i checked log this are errors: Code: 2011-05-15 13:09:32, Error CBS Doqe: Failed clearing Temp driver operations queue key. [HRESULT = 0x80070005 - E_ACCESSDENIED] 2011-05-15 13:09:32, Error CBS Doqe: Failed writing driver operations queue. [HRESULT = 0x80070005 - E_ACCESSDENIED] 2011-05-15 13:09:32, Error CBS Doqe: Failed clearing Temp driver operations queue key. [HRESULT = 0x80070005 - E_ACCESSDENIED] 2011-05-15 13:09:32, Error CBS Failed to perform operation. [HRESULT = 0x80070005 - E_ACCESSDENIED] 2011-05-15 13:09:32, Error DISM DISM Package Manager: PID=4972 Failed finalizing changes. - CDISMPackageManager::Internal_Finalize(hr:0x80070005) 2011-05-15 13:09:32, Error DISM DISM Package Manager: PID=4972 Failed processing package changes - CDISMPackageManager::ProcessChanges(hr:0x80070005) with integration process going on i noticed everytime hotfix is composed only with driver componenets (infs) it errors out... ill let integration until the end maybe its "harmless" error and those hotfixes gets integrated anyway ...
I get this access denied error on multiple updates every time on a freshly sysprepped image and attempt to integrate those updates not installed during sysprep. What I have to do is run the freshly captured image again to sysprep on vhd and recapture again, afterwhich any and all updates henceforth integrate without issue. It's not often I have to run sysprep again from scratch and am only doing so now due to the service stack and USB updates-'031 does not play nice when uninstalling.
They dont get integrated bleh... broken crap... ill just keep installing servicing stack seperatly. No... i wrote its bug related to OOBE, something about computer naming crap. If it would be about USB then it might made this ISOs actualy useful...
new or old... doesnt matter. You can potentialy integrate it only with sysprep and even this didnt work for me properly.
ok, I tried a few days ago to integrate Updates to ISO (with dism) and I had no problems... you must install and not integrate? but I noticed that the files were not updated (the KB is installed and not integrated) Apircl.dll should be 6.1.7601.17592 but it's 7.6.7600.16385 and DPX.dll, Drvstore.dll, pkgmgr.exe, etc... should be 6.1.7601.17592 but it's 6.1.7601.17514 why?
Impossible you cant integrate it in to wim(iso)... here are errors with both .msu and .cab Code: D:\>dism /image:d:\mount /add-package /packagepath:Windows6.1-KB2533552-x64.msu Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool Version: 6.1.7600.16385 Image Version: 6.1.7600.16385 Processing 1 of 1 - D:\Windows6.1-KB2533552-x64.msu: An error occurred applying the Unattend.xml file from the .msu package.
