thanks for the huge updates and keepup the good work i agree about, direct links as the message above says
ye ye maybe but thing is even if its there it doesnt harm anyone, since if its installed its skipped anyway
I tested the new ISO, and that KB is shown as "installed" (and not integrated, so I thought) you can uninstall it without problems after, if there is no difference between the 2 ISO (except that KB) I'll stick with the old ISO thanks
hello i want to know something i click on udaptes the box said all is fine then after the computer reboot but when i went to windows udapte review your udapte history there is no udaptes today ????? there is a bug ???? i had try one udapte normally installed the computer installed it an other time ????? the udaptes cmd is not working i have to install one by one ????? tanks in advance
tanks for the reply yes i installed the solor pack Windows 7 post SP1 hotfixes & updates repository: http: //hotfix.chris123nt.com/Windows.7/ Changelog is here I will update this repository aproximatly once/week, just keep checking changelog. I will pack them up in to zip once every full moon Up to 17th of April 2011 Hotfix folder compressed: x86 x64 but when i click on one udapte on the list windows say do you want to install it ????? i had installed all by udaptes.cmd so windows need to say normally udapte already installed so i think udaptes .cmd install nothing!!!!!
This is a known problem, if you use updates.cmd it only installs the LDR brhanch which may or may not cause detection problem (for that particular hotfix) with Windows Update
Correct, because the history only shows updates done through Windowsupdate. If you go to control panel --> (top right) view by 'small (or large) icons' --> programs & features --> (in the left pane) 'view installed updates' and scroll down you will find all the updates listed there.
try to run update.cmd as administrator or use burfadel install script. Thing is i never tested much this update.cmd because i never use it I tested it once and thats about it... it worked then, but keep in mind in only use Administrator account and nothing else (and no i dont mean user with admin privilages, i only use real admin account).
I agree totally. If you want to do administrator like actions you have to do it from an administrator account. The restriction on a 'normal' account is called 'User Access Control' for a reason, it limits the ability to use some functions.
