it english versions i always use(from digital river),i have tried various methods of sorting the issue out,but the only one that worked is the windows 7 manager.after a while though if the world icons are left they do return to normal favicons,usually after a windows update,but sometimes they disappear again for a while. just very hit and miss with them.i have 3 pc's in the house all different makes,but set up basicallly the same, and all do it so it must be something iam using or renaming the shortcut or the way i put the shortcut on my desktop(right click create shortcut)
It is an annoying problem. There seem to be 2, the icons that are changing and destop or folders that don't auto refresh. Both problems were reported during beta testing. But is seems that they didn't fix it completely, perhaps with sp1?
