@pacoolio Have you read the forums rules? https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/forum-rules.18562/ This rule exists because companies working on behalf of Microsoft have sent us dozens of DMCA takedown notices over the years. A website can't exist for long if that keeps happening. We haven't received any DMCA takedown notices for the activation exploits. Microsoft only seems to care about modified ISO images and stolen keys.
Nothing went wrong here. I just blindly delete this folder to avoid cumulation of old previously added files by my tool. Your image does not have this folder and therefore imagex is throwing this error. I will have to hide this message next time to avoid confusion by users.
Just one last question, does Windows 7 work also with older CPUs or is it just for the newer generation of CPUs ?
If you end up using win10's boot.wim, you won't be able to install windows 7 on some older gen cpus. Pentium 4s for example are a no-go with win10's boot.wim.
No, it doesn't. SSE2 is not a requirement for Windows 7 32bit. I have several old Athlons with Windows 7 installed, and they all support only SSE. Windows 8 and above do absolutely require SSE2 (MS' choice).
That's what you think but don't forget that not all people can afford to buy SSD, the SSD prices are not accessible to everyone. Now we know that installing the updates through "setupcomplete.cmd" was not the problem of the long wait that occurs during "setupcomplete.cmd" process, in fact it's related to all what is executed during the "setupcomplete.cmd" process (drivers, IE11, vc-redist, NDP471...) and all the new tasks that you added in that file (Gadgets, tweaks), all this is a factor in how long it takes for "setupcomplete.cmd" process to complete. So what we can conclude of this is that people who don't have SSD shouldn't use "setupcomplete.cmd" file during windows installation otherwise they take the risk of waiting a long time before desktop shows at the end of the installation, it seems that this file can be executed quickly with all the tasks it contains only with powerful hardware and especially SSD.
Does anyone have a ELAN1200 touchpad driver for Windows 7 ? I tried all found drivers on google but dead the touchpad still doesn't work or aren't made for ELAN1200.
@Atak_Snajpera Definitely make the code public, I believe this project can go a long way if people can audit the code.
