Are you sure bluetooth is enabled in your laptop when using win7? Maybe you need to activate it first with some key.
Most likely you forgot to install some extra software from manufacture's site which controls Wifi/Blutooth. Btw. Do you have some exclamation mark in yellow triangle in device manager?
Did not work first on Asrock X570 Steel Legend with Ryzen 3700x. Keyboard and mouse worked after using this tool just to install Windows 7 from USB stick. Once the O/S starts, KM stopped working at the username input field. Installed Inateck USB card and restarted installation from scratch and it just went fine and I can boot into Windows 7 now.
@teque : And that key may need a win 7 driver to work. It may be that it doesn't show in the Device Manager with yellow exclamation mark if it is a software/radio button Make & Model ? @Arctucas : Device ID ?
Am I reading this right and you guys got windows 7 working with the new ryzen 3000 cpu's and 570 motherboards? If so I gather you can get w7 and the 3k cpu working with 450/470 boards too? Just to be clear you can get the 3k cpu's working fine on 450/470 boards simply by slipstreaming the drivers into the w7 iso using this tool but it doesn't work with the new x570 boards and you have to get a Inateck USB card and then use all your usb devices via this card if you wish to use a 570 board?
1. You are not able to install win 7 64. Right ? 2. What is the make & model of Motherboard, Laptop, Desktop, HDD/SDD, etc. ? 3. How do you know RAID driver is the problem ? Are you not able to see the RAID HDD/SSD during installation ? 4. if you plan to install win 7 on an NVMe drive, Device ID for the NVMe storage controllers so that we can look for proper drivers to be integrated into the Boot.wim & Install.wim OR Integrate two Microsoft updates : Windows6.1-KB2990941-v3-x64.msu & Windows6.1-KB3087873-v2-x64.msu into Boot.wim & Install.wim to use Microsoft's basic NVMe drivers.
1. Very well said. Don't know if he is able to boot into Win 7 Installation media ? If he is trying to boot into Win 7 Installation media from USB 3/3.1 ports, he has to integrate USB 3 drivers in the Installation Media itself. ( OR he can try installation from USB 2 ports or Installation DVD ) 2. To correct my self : he is supposed to provide Hardware IDs of Storage Controllers & not the Hard disk. 3. I feel It was really funny myself! If he is not having an OS installed on the machine, How he would get the Hardware IDs ? The remedy is : Boot into a good Win 10 PE & have a go at Device Manager. 4. It will be easier to get around these things if he answers the previous questions. 5. Its really funny he is telling the problem with a RAID disk & bringing NVMe disks into consideration!
@ LittlePro I have W7Ux64 installed, on a single Samsung 960EVO nvme drive, no problems. eVGA Z390 Dark. However, when I tried to install to a RAID0 array created in BIOS, the installation failed. The device ID for the Samsung nvme controller I am currently using is PCI\VEN_144D&DEV_A804&SUBSYS_A801144D&REV_00. @ shhnedo Why does the USB3 controller matter? I have both the AsMedia USB3.0 and USB3.1 working just fine.
Did it came from factory / preinstalled OS or you yourself made that install ? If you start installation with an untouched MSDN Win 7 ISO, you would not be able to boot from USB 3 ports & you won't see NVMe drives option during installation. Are you aware ? Please answer it first.
I assembled the PC. Yes, I am aware of that. I created a DVD using the instructions set forth in this thread.
