Nice, thanks for response, as I mentioned in other post, I try to move life system, so it is a different story. And it is crazy Motherboard Gigabyte Z590 Vision D best block design one with one ASUS similar design, but 100-ths others have mistake in this design or, let say it less aggressive, not utilizing all potential from CPU and Chipset. Raltec PCI-E LAN will not work on Intel, or I am wrong? Or you use separate utility in PCI slot?
OK, can you source me this 2.5 Realtec adapter drivers ? Are they onboard, or you added them to PCIe slot? Z590 have Intel(R) Ethernet Controller (3) I225-V are those we talk about?
HMM ASKING AGAIN IF YOU CAN GIVE SOURCES FOR DRIVERS FOR ETHERNET IF IT IS ON MB OR IN SLOT? PLEASE RESPOND. ALL OTHER SORTED EXCEPT 2,5 GIG ETHERNETS FROM Z590 INTEL SET
Do you have a recommended video card and sound card to go with that? My currently owned options are an AMD GPU and a Creative Sound Blaster. I know these do work on win7 as they're in use. I know nothing of Nvidia. Also, are other MSI motherboards of the same family equipped with CSM or just that model (I do not trust MSI spec manuals or websites due to past transgressions with what is and is not supported/present)? I'm not fond of case lights. Sorry if these are involved questions, I just like to be sure since it looks like I might just have an updated hardware option that can use win11 and win7.
I just use the onboard sound currently on this PC, and for a video card for nvidia you can use anything up to their RTX 3090 or below on windows 7 (I was running a RTX 2080 super, but now I am putting a RTX 3080 in there later today) but a GT/GTX 9xx series, GT/GTX 1xxx series card should work fine as well on windows 7. (nvidia doesn't support their newest RTX 4xxx series cards on windows 7) I read online before I bought this motherboard that MSI Z590 motherboards support CSM, and I have on hand experience with this specific motherboard that it works. (you can turn off the lights on it with a switch on the bottom of the board labeled "LED_SW1" if you don't like the lights) So I can guarantee that this motherboard specifically works, but beyond that like I said MSI Z590 motherboards shouldn't have an issue. If you are not happy with the lights on this motherboard they can be easily turned off.
Hello. I downloaded the program, specified the source image and the save path. The image is not saved, and DISM Error 2 appears in the program logs after successful integration of updates. In the logs of DISM itself (C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log ) I noticed a frequently repeated lines: [3452] [0x8007007b] FIOReadFileIntoBuffer1452): A syntax error in the file name, folder name, or volume label. First, it's an old, discontinued tool. Second: What is the full path to the tool and to the image you're modifying?
@Atak_Snajpera - Thank you for providing this tool to the internet. Please upload source for people like me who want to continue to contribute to the project, in order to get modern hardware compatible with Win 7. Unfortuantely, it has not worked for me. Windows 7 is not compatible with my BIOS. Windows 7 meant a lot to me and I'm sure it did for others around the world too. If a public project like this existed (main purpose to get Win 7 compatible with modern hardware), I would be willing to put in the time to contribute as well as offering financial donations.
