YOU DO NOT EVEN KNOW HOW MANY P/E CYCLES ON MY SSD I HAVE WASTED DURING TESTING MY TOOL! (Win7eng/Win7pl/Win7x86/Win7x64/Win7presp1 + instalation on virtual machine with alocated 30 GB on SSD and so on...) PROBLEM DOES NOT OCCUR ON MY SIDE. END OF STORY.
Because the use of windows 10 boot.wim in this tool, the created win 7 can not be installed on little older cpu's which dont have support for PAE, NX, and SSE2. if a user want to use win 7 on older systems, then choose win 7 boot.wim.
Don't be mad my friend, i was not doing any reproach to you, i was only wondering if somethig wrong could come from your script, that's all.
yes thats right. but it would be good if you can post somewhere this drawback of using win 10 boot.wim, so user doesnt face issues. thank you.
This tool is not for ancient pre-Pentium 4 CPUs. Title clearly shows that. Windows 7 Image Updater - SkyLake\KabyLake\CoffeLake\Ryzen Threadripper
yes sorry it can be integrated, i could clearly noticed that by rereading the link carefully so the question is how can you explain that 185 updates have been integrated offline using simplix pack including IE11when it is clearly mentionned in the link that update integration is limited in Offline image as you see : "We cannot continue to install updates offline, because of the DISM limitation ?
You can't stop with those question ,can't you? Ask uncle google if you have more questions like this. I'm done.
you didn't have to answer me this way, you have been awswering all my questions me in a courteous manner so far so you could have continued doing it politely, i was just trying to understand why people can integrate multiple updates offline using Simplix Pack when you can't do it as it is mentionned in the link that update integration is limited in Offline image but it's not really the case as again it can be done with Simplix Pack so i consider it is a serious question that needs to be asked so if you have any idea about this, that would be nice if you can say it here, if you don't so it's alright, i will try to look for an answer from someone else.
FGS, why do you always have to post these pedantic comments ? you can't turn it off, that's incredible, if you have no answer about what i said in my previous post so it's best to not say anything instead of putting this kind of comments, please try to avoid putting this kind of comments in the future, you're a very good helper but your behavior sometimes leaves much to be desired.
Stop using words posted by one of the most pedantic posters ever on MDL like eddo2018 aka TS (got a new ban, for x'th time) I don't care what you think of me or my post(ing manner)s, what you should care about is how many times you have hit ans miss with the neverending useless questions and when a dev answers you, you say: "i already knew that". You ask many questions in one thread about a tool, showing no answer ever sticked with you, and in one minute you promote the tool you just were asking the questions.
If my questions and comments are bothering you, just ignore them and help other people with more interesting questions, that's all i can tell you. I'm really tired of all your snide remarks and comments towards me, all you do is criticizing, that's all you do most of the time and i've had enough of this. Again, if you consider that my contribution here is useless so don't bother to answer again to any of my posts.
I ran the Win7 Image updater. It said it completed successfully. The Windows7.iso isn't in the output folder. I've run it three times. I have my Antivirus turned off. I'm running in Win10 64bit. I'm using windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.iso Do you have any ideas why it isn't creating the file Windows7.iso? Thank you, Docfxit
