Where do you see anything related with updates? Code: cmd.exe /c %windir%\Setup\Scripts\vc_redist\Install.cmd %windir%\Setup\Scripts\NET_Framework\NDP471-KB4033342-x86-x64-AllOS-ENU.exe /q /norestart %windir%\Setup\Scripts\Realtek_Audio\Setup.exe /s %windir%\Setup\Scripts\Intel_GPU\Setup.exe -s %windir%\Setup\Scripts\AMD_GPU\Setup.exe -INSTALL cmd.exe /c %windir%\Setup\Scripts\Internet_Explorer_11\Install.cmd cmd.exe /c %windir%\Setup\Scripts\WuaCpuFix\Install.cmd
Wiadome. Chodzi mi o to czy program kopjuje bootX64.efi do odpowiedniego folderu, czy musze to zrobic recznie?
Good for you. Now try it on a machine with pure UEFI and no legacy support(CSM and such). Call me when you get pass the Windows logo after loading the setup files.
Usually people who ask for windows 7 and UEFI are using a Sky/Kaby/Ryzen platform and expect it to work without considering the fact that they might be lacking the necessary legacy components. Now I may not have seen many modern machines and played with them, but the general rule is the same - if the motherboard firmware lacks the compatibility stuff to support windows 7, you're generally screwed. So, before anything else, we need to know what motherboard the user has in order to give them a general idea of what to expect. This, however, is off-topic as far as this thread goes(platform compatibility, not UEFI compatibility).
As far as i know Intel is planning to drop csm support in 2020. Until than every motherboard will support legacy boot. So we're fine for now.
Not all motherboards support Legacy, there are some of them that don't support it as we could see few weeks ago with a member asking help for installing win7 on Pure UEFI as his Bios didn't contain any Legacy/bios option (AMI with Kaby Lake cpu) so he was stuck as it seems impossible to install win7 on pure UEFI currently as it was mentionned previously.
So after testing with Atak's new version, you can first integrate Simplix to a W7 single image or create an AIO using any method on the Simplix thread OP. Then use Windows 7 Updater with "Integrate Drivers" selected, uncheck 'Download missing updates' and 'Integrate updates', check or uncheck 'Apply to all editions' for the type of ISO you're creating. All types of ISO were successfully created in my tests. Using Dec. Simplix 17.12.15 and installing several types of ISO's options to a SkyLake PC, all types of installs were successful and resulted with only 1 important missing update, the undesirable update (KB9170133) on initial Windows Updates check. If you select 'Integrate updated installer' it will result in creating a smaller size ISO. However, with the W10 installer your installation will also result in the 'System reserved' partition being 500MB instead of the W7 default of 100MB. IMO there is no advantage to 'Integrate updated installer' because all types of AIO ISO's creation with either option will vary between 4.5-7GB in size, requiring use of an 8GB flash drive anyway. That said, I left the 'integrate updated installer' option unchecked, and in keeping the standard W7 installer resulted with default 100MB 'System reserved' installations. @Atak_Snajpera thanks again for the new fixed version...
