Not in the root folder, in the sources folder.

You're supposed to put the entire $OEM$ folder into the sources folder.

 

Agh I see. But the instructions in the OP said it has to be in the root folder...

 

hi everyone, i have two questions. First i have a notebook that has an inminent hard disk failure and does not boot. I was thinking of buying a new hard disk and install again windows 7 original but the key under the laptop can't be read (erased by the time) ... so i need to know if its possible to get the key from linux or command prompt .

My second question is.... i have a win7 desktop pc not activated and i want to activate it. Its win7 proffesional , instaled in 2016. Has only 3 updates kb2685811 , kb 2534111, and kb 976902, what do you recommend me ??

Win 7 ulti latest 32 version for clean install

That's because that win 7 repo was deleted years ago.
