That looks exactly like what I found inside the Zip apart from the header and the black background. Anyway. Since there is no way to edit the ei.cfg thing without getting inside the ISO I have managed to find a W7 Pro ISO from a different forum. Now I have the right ISO and the MDL Simplix tool I just need to burn these both to a DVD that will boot and install............... Is this correct?
You really don't read the info... You were planning to use an USB, then you simply could have deleted the ei.cfg after creating it.
I have my suspicions YOU are the one not reading the info. I have never said I want to us a USB drive for the installation. That is why I keep asking about burning to a DVD.
If you would have read the info from the start you would already have an uptodate WIn 7 Professional ISO. Good luck with installing it.
I suggest you get a reality check. You are certainly not helpful to novices who might stray into this forum. Most of the info I have read are either inaccurate or misleading or are full of jargon that only the chosen few could possibly understand. I don't find your input of any use at all.
extract the iso (using 7-zip), delete ei.cfg (and probably make some changes), and rebuild iso using oscdimg
I installed a copy of Windows 7 Enterprise on a machine and used a volume license key now I'm looking for information about kmspico so I can activate it.
