I Think you have to create $OEM$\$$\Setup\Scripts in the folder sources, not in in the root of the temporary folder ! Am I right? Regarts
Hello guys I'm a newbie lol sorry if this question will sound lame but do i need to run the windows loader after installing a fresh copy of windows? I think i am not getting it or something..
to activate it yes.. or u can do it manually by googling "oem offline activation windows 7 slmgr.vbs"
So I installed Windows 7 Ultimate x64, used Daz loader(which works perfectly), installed the simplix pack, and turned off Windows updates but every now and then Windows Updates get turned back on fully after logging into Windows sometimes. Is this normal?
u need the KB3177467 Servicing Stack Update September 2016 then the KB3172605 July 2016 Rollup then the KB3212646 Monthly Rollup do net stop wuauserv in cmd admin a few times before installing each (sometimes net start wuauserv then stop it 2x works)
If you freshly install WIndows 7 with SP1, it seems you need to install the following updates to make Windows Updater work again. KB3172605 KB3020369 They seems to be a roll-ups on their own. I wonder which update within these rollu-ps are actually responsible for making WU work again. Anyone know? Would it also work to just update the WU agent? Not even sure if I get it.
WU is fixed, you can use the default agent but you need to include KB3138612 in your first updates batch, to resolve any later slowness and reduce CPU/RAM usage
I downloaded and installed Windows 7 starter from mirror.corenoc.de/digitalrivercontent.net and left the automatic updates checked. Now it says that there are 2 days until automatic activation. What do I do now?
Hey I installed windows 7 ultimate edition but when I open daz loader it says "unsupported operating system" what do I do now? Thanks in advance
Hi, abbodi1406! I saw your comment above (I can't add link to messages yet, but here post number #173) where you say that WU in Windows 7 (SP1) is fixed and it's OK to use default (did you mean v. 7.6.7600.320 ??). Also you mention that KB3138612 must be include in first update batch to reduce memory and CPU usage. Does it means that without KB3138612 search for updates would take forever to scan? Because in my test there nothing fixed and search for updates (with default WU client - 7.6.7600.320) takes forever without installing KB3020369 and KB3172605. I apologize, when I wrote above comment in background working virtual machine with searching updates with default WUC (7.6.7600.320) and no result was yet. But after posting comment - list of 147 important and 100 optional was appeared in WUC. So, I confirm that with default WUC (v. 7.6.7600.320) now WORKS FINE despite huge CPU and memory consumption (as say abbodi1406 - installing KB3138612 would resolve that)!
