Oh, sorry, I don't have deltas and haven't been able to find them, I only have the original SP1 and was hoping with your patch files I could convert to SP1 media refresh.

    I have the original hebrew SP1-U iso's: (I also hve the original sp1 iso's)
    he_windows_7_ultimate_with_sp1_x64_dvd_u_677312.iso
    he_windows_7_ultimate_with_sp1_x86_dvd_u_677436.iso
    he_windows_7_enterprise_with_sp1_x64_dvd_u_677657.iso
    he_windows_7_enterprise_with_sp1_x86_dvd_u_677733.iso

I can create deltas and upload them to mediafire.

Do you have the original SP1 heb iso's so you can convert them to SP1-U and create the hebrew MR bin-patches?

    thank you!
I agree, this thread should be sticiky.

    suggestions + enterprise hashes

    BitSwitcher
tested hebrew MR bin-patches, works perfectly - thank you.
    som suggestions:
can you upgrade 'windows7_iso_image_edition_switcher' version to include the following changes:
    1) Change the name of the iso files to microsoft MSDN original name.
ie - if I have for example 'he_windows_7_professional_with_sp1_x64_dvd_u_676923.iso' iso and I want to change it to
ultimate msdn iso (using GSP1RMCULXFRER_HE_DVD.bin-patch) - the program wil automatically change the name of the iso to he_windows_7_ultimate_with_sp1_x64_dvd_u_677312.iso.
    2) support for deltas, change the gui to use delta or bin patches - the user need to choose the location of the downloaded delta file, you can just place xdelta is the folder and make the program use it.
those 2 'suggestions' are easy to do.

    also-
if you want deltas for any language, maybe I will be able to provide it.

anyway here is the enterprise hebrew hashes so you can update the readme:

    he ent x64 retail

I did not write the GUI tool, I only added patch files and hashes. You might want to check with the original author or even make the changes yourself (open source tool).

I think that would require to change the *.bin-patch file format to add the file name (and MS uses different file names for the same ISOs, only the label inside the file is always the same).

Thanks. I lost several images due to broken disks and I'll probably stop after the Portuguese patches are done...

    Thanks, added the MD5 hashes.

Funny how things always look easy to the ones not actually doing the work.
Also, as BitSwitcher says, Microsoft has at least 3 different ways of naming the same thing.

But, if so easy, do it yourself.

It is easiest if you have all 3 files (xdelta3.exe and the 2 Ultimate ISOs) in the same folder. Then use for example:
    Code:
    xdelta3 -9es pp_windows_7_ultimate_with_sp1_x86_dvd_619103.iso pp_windows_7_ultimate_with_sp1_x86_dvd_u_677459.iso pp_windows_7_ultimate_with_sp1_x86_dvd_u_677459.vcdiff
The 1. name is the old file (SP1), the 2. name is the new file (SP1u), and the 3. is the name of the delta file (*.vcdiff, *.vcd, *.xdelta, *.delta -- it doesn't really matter). Then do similar for x64. If you don't have Ultimate then you can use Professional instead, but both have to be pp.

No... just put them in the root of any drive, such as "E:\xdelta3.exe........"

You also need at least the options -e and -s (or -9es as written in my post above).
