I think he is running out of ideas, and this should be removed
the multi-boot people can just deal with the inconvence of having
to install a Dell cert on their old Vista installs.

I assume its for people who are using grub4dos on a seperate drive. I just opted to rename all found grldrs to grldr.bak so any affected ones can be renamed

with his installer you would then also have to run a grldr bootinst.exe
if your doing multiboot then just install the bootloader manualy it's not
like you have to do it every day and no script writer can guess what
boot manager you are using. the resulting script would be 1000 lines.

I don't quite know what you mean, but anyway I looked inside the code and well, I think untermensch has gone a bit bonkers. the bloody thing is RIDDLED with md5 checks etc. and unnecessary superflous code like randomnly selecting a product key. Nice idea to stop one from being blacklisted, but kinda pointless. The PID.TXT is again a good idea, but I prefer to hardcode each editions key when they are leaked.

Initially his work was a great improvement over mine but hes gone kinda bonkers with all the self checking and work dammit modes and vmware checks and random product key selction, yet people still cite this as a nice simple loader, which it once was and did the job fantastically, but now its just gone a bit too far. Not trying to be mean to untermensch, just trying to tell him to take a step back and make this loader nice and simple again, rather than add complex and failiure prone new features and checks. Just my 2 pennies.

I like seeing how far he can push a batch script though, he's just having
    fun or showing off

Yeah but its getting a bit silly. Ok script activates win7 on most systems great. Now lets add some md5 checks that check if a text file has been modified (UH someone could modify the md5s in the batch to match the newly modded ones) and then load it into a batch file and have it check itself over 9000 times and add subroutines to mount every partition etc. I think its just a little overkill but he has MAD batch skillz he can stop proving himself/showing off

the md5 checks will fustrate the stupid or lazy malware folks

but most malware just wraps the real exe inside and encrypted
exe and launchs the virus/trojan along with the keygen or whatever
    bait their using.

so I think he making sure the install files are not corrupted.

Hazar dude just chill done told you before. The more you worry about someone else's program the more incompetent you look, almost as if your insecure about your own program. I never worried about other people's software it would drive me up a friggin wall.

On one had your saying it's a nice program then you turn right back around and have something negative to say about it. Just do what you been doing and everything will work it self out.

I wasn't trying to be malicious or negative, just to say what I think to improve it, and to improve it I think the whole random keycheck and md5 buisiness needs to stop, work dammit is a good idea though.

If the md5 failed its either something wrong in the program or the install.cmd has been modified. The checks are there to stop that. I guess malware packers DON'T understand MD5s. Silly malware packers :D
