I have modd SLIC 2.1 and activation key DELL. When I watch my shows product ID: 00426-OEM-8992662-00400. But when I see the key PIDX shows the number of key DELL :55041-OEM-8992662-00400. The question is why do we not change 00426 in 55041. Thanks for your help and response.
Well right, after "testing" Vista Ultimate NoPE Release. I bought it, and will buy this new Windows again, like I always had.
Honestly the people who leaked the keys should have waited till after the 22nd of Oct. M$ will have a pretty good idea who's legit and who is not. If they would have waited till after the 22nd then you all would be in the clear 100%. Although M$ can't really do anything about the offline activations they will have a good idea on the number of people who have legitimate installs.The leveno key would have kept everyone afloat till the 22nd anyways.But then again that's just my opinion.
Apparently now and up until October 22 MS has a clear statistics about a number of installed pirated Windows 7 copies. I mean it's safe to assume that all OEM-SLP-activated Sevens, which would spot themselves on WU at this time, are indeed cracked, or, using their term, mimiced.
I would not go as far as saying all OEM:SLP activated machines are as you put it, cr**ked, or, using their term, mimiced. I am pretty sure M$ is tracking all the computers that try to "dial" Windows Update. They would be idiots not to do so esp after the lenovo key leak.
Please remember that the keys are not manufacturer specific. As long as the certificat ethat you are using matches the bios info that you have you will get SLP activation 100% of the time! I have tried all of the ultimate edition keys with a dell bios and certificate and it has activated every time!
I am new to this help me as i dont have any Branded computer, but willling to put Windows 7 how to activate using those OEM keys!!! Plz bear with me...
Best you hope they dont change how the OS recognize the SLIC on bios, im kinda worried they might do something to change all the OEM versions that are activated atm to cracked copy via a "Critical Update" that trashes our data lol. or worse, they might even make OEM people change the way they do slic or even change how the OS and bios interact lol. that would be epic.
