Windows 7 Offline Updates

    so i grabbed the x86 december version & installed all updates except WinDefender and Removal Tool Update
    installation was smooth. after reboot i can only see one update KB958488 via control panel & [ U ] option
    is it normal? how do i check if other patches are properly installed?

    Error with Updatesx86.zip

    I get an error message when i try to unzip the files.

    "Can not open file Updates.x86.zip as archive"

    Update.x64.zip worked fine!!!

    mmm... open a cmd window as administrator and type "wmic qfe list full /format:table"

    By the way: are u using ultimate version?

    Use latest winzip version... if that fails your download was corrupted... so download again :)

    Howdy ColdZero,
    I'm using Win7 x86 Signature + Daz 1.95 & wanna applying the updates. Moreover gonna integrate it in my .ISO using GDism Tool.
    I've downloaded the 32bit folder, containing 2 files :
    1 - Updates.x86.z01 ; which i can't open
    2 - Updates.x86.zip ; Success to Unzip it, Folder 269mb
    So am i just using the Unzipped one? But i don't see "Start.cmd" inside the folder, just have "Menu.cmd" and 4 folders
    ( Addons, AntiMalware, Primary & Secondary ) ; I need & waiting for ur advise Bro'.

    Hi!
    Yes, "Updates.x86.zip" is the file to unzip all the package.
    My mistake... Run "Menu.cmd" as admin... Thanks for the observation :)

    January 2011 Update/Fix Released... Monthly and Incremental...
    Those who wants only the monthly version can download incremental directly, and select "2011 update section" thats all

    Hi, I think the parameter,in 2011.01.January.cmd for installing windows6.1-kb976902-x86.cab should be /quiet, not /s

    I didn't try your installer, I was trying manually, and /s kept giving incorrect parameter errors.

    Yes, i re-uploaded the package with that fix.
    The fix was changing the entire line to:
    start /Wait pkgmgr /ip /m:1.windows6.1-kb976902-x86.cab
    and yes, you can either use the GUI or install manually

    i want use this, must download from the first?

    or can i use this update jan 11 without download update dec 10?

    Jan 11 version is incremental
    you need Dec 10 Pack too.
