That may be completely normal. Acer has not been speedy about getting all their software and drivers updated for Windows 7, especially for what may be somewhat older models. I've seen the same thing with many manufacturers before back when Vista launched, and when XP launched too.
crap... that sucks. You might just be out of luck unless they decide to upgrade the LaunchManager app if nothing else for Win 7. Don't recall seeing, but did you try installing the Vista version for your model and then running in compatibility mode? Forgive me if this was already covered.
Anyone know if there are Windows 7 drivers for the Acer AOA150 netbook? None listed on the acer site for this model but perhaps there are some for another netbook that would work with the AOA150?
I am using genuine KIS 2010 and it is not interfering with the flashing of my bios. Btw I flashed inside Win 7, not DOS. If everything cannot be done for you, I suggest last resort, CLEAN install and flash your bios again.
I just did, m8! W7 from scratch -> I used Daz's Loader 1.7.5 only [before, when I checked within Vista, I was told I had Dell BIOS etc. - but now, just Acer, all of the bits in that department were Acer, this time around!] and it worked a treat! Then, I added everything else, bit by bit - it all works, beautifully smooth and pretty darn cool!!! Thanx a bunch!
Btw, installed Ubuntu 9.10 as well, the next day. A very cool dual boot!!!!!!!!! Linux is getting better, too!!!!!
Problem solved ! I downloaded LaunchManger_Dritek_2.0.02_Vistax86.zip and instal it. Set all .exe after install compatibility with Vista SP1. Works great.
Though I am using Win 7, I also use Launch Manager v2 instead of the v3 coz v3 disable my WIFI when bootup. As such by reverting back to Launch manager v2, all is good.
