Then in all honesty you must be doing something wrong, im using unoffical updates (not this pack but "my" pack), since day one, on 3 computers at home, i even intergrated them in to win7 install dvd. And i have _0_ problems with them, on top of that im also using office2010/visual studio 2010 to even more "screw up" librarys and have more "beta" software installed, except few errors in outlook 2010 everything works perfectly. Signin assistant from office2010 even fixed some errors i was having with live toolbar.
they wont be afaik, most of them will be avilable upon request/manual download (because they are there to fix specific issue) or come with SP1. There is already probably like ~20-30 (didnt check for a while) updates for Win7 avilable officaly one way or the other.
my guess, leaked around mid december/christmas. But this is just wild guess, cosidering what timeline MS have.
removed im updating them as im geting them usualy... updates in "CABS" are meant for integration in to install DVD only.. edit: removed link, dont want this to become too public, if someone wants it pm me.
Why dont you use DISM Just curious, how come you guys don't just use the DISM app to slipstream your updates into your image? Works fine here. Is there something different that the updater application does? Thanks, Eneerge
i do i would never ever use some 3rd party tool (unless i would wrote it my self), if you have original windows tool that can do same job...
Now i used Dism too, it works realy nice I made a test install into Vmware and Windows Update says "Windows is Up to Date" Thx
