Microsoft understand that it can be difficult to determine whether any compatibility or installation issues are associated with a hotfix. If you want confirmation that this hotfix addresses your specific problem, or if you want to confirm whether any special compatibility or installation issues are associated with this hotfix, support professionals in Microsoft Customer Support Services can help you with that.

    Wierd?!

anyone got any ideas-refer attachment, unknown PS2....device etc.; just since the new update pack.

My mistake; not related to the update pack at all. The USB is PC Power & Cooling UPS 1500; communication not plug and play, the PS2 is hidden device -)

Veeeeery nice George King; system is fast and stable. I absolutely love your update packs, thanks a heap!

Manually checked some KB-articles and yes - these do include the December updates.
    Example check of KB925681:
    Article ID: 925681 - Last Review: December 8, 2009 - Revision: 3.0

Use the other one and wait one hour to reuse-it has always been faster:D

Well what I did was integrate the updates to each edition 1 by 1 like for example Ultimate x86 then to Ultimate x64 but final image size exceeds DVD5 size .. mind you I got 11 Editions on that DVD and I integrated the updates to 10 of them excluding Starter ...

Any help reducing ISO size would be much appreciated ;)

You cant reduce it sadly. Biggest consumption on size is when you add x86 and x64 in same install.wim after that you can add all other editions as well and size will maybe increase for 100MB or something, because it will be reusing files that are already in install.wim.
