Well maybe ill make torrent out of them once a month, but this means no more weekly updates and no more ability to download just what you need... Dunno why they closed it, probably someone reported...
Man, I'll gladly take whatever your willing to offer; your update collection is reliable and accurate, as was GK's-but, he has moved on, so, if you lay it to rest I will only go with released updates from M$ update because there is nowhere else to get a good, consistant, current set for windows 7 that can be slipstreamed. Dunno why they closed it...and you probably never will; but, I think your "guess" is probably close to the truth-either that or severe bandwidth issues maybe. Anyways, let us know what you decide, OK @ admin Just a thought, but, perhaps it is time to close this thread. It is very messy and George King does not support it any more; very few posts directly aimed at his update pack persay-which itself is very obselete, since he quit it Thanks again SoloR
The Basic package on Adrive is free (according to the website) and has file sharing, looks ideal as a replacement for the skydrive The free trials on the main page refer to the Signature and Premium plans.
I enjoy installing hundreds of mystery hotfixes, so I'm willing to provide nearly unlimited space and bandwidth if SoLoR wants to continue the update pack effort. We already move a few hundred gigs of data a day... some more won't hurt.
Tryed adrive... its VERY unreliable and slow (i didnt once manage to upload full pack, it always errors out in the middle). Ill contact terminx..
Messaged you back, SoLoR. I was thinking you could also put useful modified driver sets up on this space too. I absolutely hate sites like rapidshare and am happy to help people avoid having to use them.
Hi, Solor can you please upload your latest list of updates (x86) as i want to synchronize my x86 updates on yours... i have the updates but i don't know what to delete and what to preserve thanks.
George King's update.exe question ....am wandering if anyone can point me to exactly where to find the runonce.inf file George King's update.exe makes for apps in the "SpecialUpdates" folder. I wish to change the order of install, but, when the image is mounted by DISM or imagex, I cannot seem to locate it. Thanks, RickSteele
