Doesn't play a role how you call it. Most of them cannot be found on MS website using the kb number. This shows they are not ready to be published as an update, neither as a hotfix. Having an RTM OS and messing it up with those updates is completely stupid. BTW: I am 42, how old are you?

For the record...no one has thus far reported that their OS was "messed up" because one of these updates was installed. And for the record - RTM OS keeps getting weekly updates dispite RTM status so there is nothing suprising there. Please help guys How to unzip downloaded Updates Pack files part 1 and part 2 ? with end ...7z.001 ; ...7z.002 ??? I know what is "7zip" compression but not the name of the files like above. I tried to remove .001 and .002 from the end but no luck. Thanks for hint.
7-zip does allow spanned archives, just wondering the use of using hjsplit on a complete archive as opposed to using a straight spanned archive?
