I got both so I don't care what you're using. Use what you want :D

Be it as it may.I dont care what format you use really. Please just pack it into 1 solid archive so we would be done with this .001 .002 and so on files

    @ George...

Is there any way of slipstreaming these updates into a win7 DVD?? (I mean pure file replacement, XP style...)

Are the updates in Windows 7 RTM x86 Updates and Windows 7 RTM x64 Updates packages, the latest updates??

yes but most of them are leaked updates, probably available only on Service Pack 1 or still in Beta stages!

Could someone tell me why is there only one part (.001) for the x86 updates?

Shouldn't there also be another part?

This one could be interesting, if you are talking about the x64 version Explorer problem...
but... which one is "The culprit" ?

I do not think that it's a smart procedure to install 300MB of Unneded updates just for a single useful one...

remove .001 from the end of the name...and then open with winrar...it worked for me..

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

    Grey - Unselected/Inactive
    Red - Selected/Active

Same for both Vista & 7
Some are official and some are leaked
Unfortunately there is too many to keep track of the ones that are official or leaked and what each update adresses...
