I assume your keyboard is an USB keyboard? In the bios there is an option for plug and play OS installed (which Windows 7 is). I'm thinking yours is set to 'yes', changing it to 'no' may help your problem. Setting it to 'yes' means its up to the OS to allocated resources, whereas set to 'no' the bios does so those items can be recognised and function on a non plug and play OS.

Setting it to 'no' on a plug and play OS isn't an issue, if resources need to be reallocated by the OS they will be! it just means the USB keyboard will be able to be detected and function.

Plug and Play technology isn´t possible to disable in modern motherboard , in my opinion there is no problem , I am a clean PS/2 keyboard without reductions (USBtoPS2) and problem still exists in random periods

im googled for same problem and one people tells me that Microsoft publish update for this through Windows Update in Windows 7 BUT after apply the Georges Update pack no new update i seen

PlugANDPlay is not only OS technology , this is primarily BIOS techniquq which automatically assign IRQ,memory range ,INT ..etc.etc. without manually assign resources , disable it would cause problems ..

    I apologize for the question.

But once you downloaded the file Update.exe, in what folder should I put it?:confused:
As I tried but I noted no update?

    Thanks
