    KB2393802 is not SP1 update, even if it apply to SP1 i wouldnt touch it. All updates that should officaly apply to SP1 should have 7601 file versions, KB2393802 only have 7600

    Huh? But they are available on WU. That's where I got mine, and I suspect that's where most people are getting theirs...

    This was discussed on the previous page. It doesn't matter what you do, because if you "install" it, it doesn't actually do anything; no 7600 files are installed.

    dont know what triggers that hotfix to show on WU, but i think its Windows-RtlQueryRegistry-TrustedTypes component. And im not sure if its needed or not, but like i said actual hotfix is from begining of november and only have 7600 build files, so its fishy in any case.

    Well i was just guessing :) didnt actualy check WU, i just read someone was mentioning about not showing up so i gave plausable explanation...

    SP1 Updates are online

    I have Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and installed the SP1. After about 5 days (today) I'm getting updates from WU besides Windows Defender ones.

    About Security, this SP1 should protect 'intellectual property' in a way or another. Don't know whether this mean a machine ID lock.

    How can I manually download SP1-compatible updates from Microsoft Download Center? The reason is that I want to keep the msu files, such action being not possible if I use Windows Update. Are the links as follow?

    I am confused that whatever is shown on Microsoft Download Center is either for Windows 7 or Windows 7 Service Pack 1 Release Candidate. Since I am using the integrated ISO of Windows 7 SP1 RTM, which ones should I use? Thanks for the advice given.

    I think these are the updates that can applied to both win 7 & win 7 sp1. I have checked only one. The ApplicabilityInfo should be the same for other updates also.
    This is what written in pkg properties:
    ApplicabilityInfo="Windows 7.0 Client SP1;Windows 7.0 Client;Windows 7.0 Server Core SP1;Windows 7.0 Server Core;Windows 7.0 Embedded SP1;Windows 7.0 Embedded;Windows 7.0 Server SP1;Windows 7.0 Server;Windows 7.0 WinPE 3.1;Windows 7.0 WinPE;"
    Applies to="Windows 6.1"
    Build Date="2011/01/07"
    Company="Microsoft Corporation"
    File Version="1"
    Installation Type="FULL"
    Installer Engine="Component Based Servicing - WUSA.exe"
    Installer Version="6.0.0.0"
    KB Article Number="2485376"
    Language="ALL"
    Package Type="Security Update"
    Processor Architecture="amd64"
    Product Name="Windows 6.1"
