    Winver.exe displays the expiry date ! And else like About Taskmanager or Notepad etc. is not !!!

    Yes, winver.exe does that but why is there a dot after the 2011.09.01? ah, and the picture posted by stasio is in winver.exe too, if you look closely in the titlebar you can see "About Windows"... you can get that window only on winver

    EDIT: the beta has the expiry date because it's BETA, but the RC shouldn't have that because it's a Release Candidate, and it could be cataloged as a final release if they won't include more fixes and updates to SP1 (but that's quite impossible, Microsoft always has something to add to SP's). When a release hits the RC stage, it's like the final one. I don't remember Vista's SP2 RC build to have a time limit bomb in it...

    Only the final SP1 has no expiry date ! Beleive me ! And all pictures are true ;) ! So just i'm not leaker !
