That's really disgusting, and I speak for everyone when I say that we hate you. Just kidding. Tell us, at least, that you have caps on how much you can download.
can someone zip or rar up their sp1 version of wmploc.dll? I was modding it with a zune skin and f'd it up and now wmp won't launch, I backed up the x64 dll but forgot to backup the x86 dll.
The consensus is no; but everyone's setup is different and only way to be sure is try. - Do a backup - then try i just installed SP1, and only problem i experienced was Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 failed to start. other than that, no problems..
Cheers. Should go smooth on my laptop since that does not need any loader but just wanted to verify. Will let you know how it goes if I get any probs.
Wzor continues leaking Now wave0-1 DVD and wave0-1 x86-x64 RIP are available !!! I think integrated ISO will be next !!!
if you slipstream sp1 do you need to use the following commands? DISM /image:<path_to_offline_image> /cleanup-Image /spsuperseded or the /hidesp option to clear the updates from installed updates?
So for x86, installing the wave1 version would be better than the wave0 version? What is the difference?
Update: Neowin has been contacted by a Microsoft spokesperson. who stated Service Pack 1 is not ready for release to OEMs. ''Microsoft has not released SP1 to OEMs at this time, though we are on track for a Q1 release, as we previously announced,'' she said. What is this about? so this build is not the rtm?
In case you haven't deleted the downloaded sp1 and just don't know how to get files from kbxxx.exe, run: windows6.1-KB976932-X86.exe /extract This way in a chosen folder you'll get windows6.1-KB976932-X86.cab, which contains all sp1 files inside, unpack it, and wmploc.dll should be found in this folder: x86_microsoft-windows-mediaplayer-core_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7601.17514_none_0d712d0aad5bd2a0
read previous post; this has been brought up and answered many times by many people. it all depends on what you want: - i have faith in WZor because he has never failed me when it comes to leaks. he was the one who first leaked Win7 RTM. and at the time there were many nay-sayers who doubted WZor, in the end, he was proven to be right. - same thing with Office 2010. If you want to wait, than wait for it to appear in Windows Update. If not, just do a quick backup, then try it. I just took the plunge, only because im a tech-geek. To each is own.
This IS RTM! My guess is its just not ready for ANY launch because there is no Windows Updates for it, like WAT, Ballot screen etc etc.
