Wave0, 1 (and 2 if it exists) are all rtm, the only difference are the included languages

"I tried that; it gives me Error: 13 Could not enumerate Service Pack on machine." RT7 Lite must mess it up somehow.

Reverse integration? I tried to wrap my head around that...apparently beyond me.

Perhaps the .NET optimization services are running? Mine are churning away right now and eating a nice chunk of CPU time.

Not reverse integration but the real thing with dism. And no, plenty of cpu time and free ram left

If you integrate/slipstream SP1 iinto an ISO, I believe DISM automatically cleans up the backup files before the ISO is made. It will pretty much be the same as installing SP1 post fresh install and running the DISM cleanup command, but not quite the same as an original Microsoft SP1 ISO.

ie9 isn't included, it isn't ready yet. And actually ie is a separate program, so it won't be included in any service pack.

try sfc /scannow, that's how I fixed part of my problem. Installed x64 sp1 fine after doing some winsxs fix and then sfc.

that looks like RT7Lite cleaned up the files automatically, that's the message i get if i run the cleanup command again, after i already cleaned up the backup files.

Maybe, but the Windows Disk Cleanup utility is under the impression that I still have nearly a gig of sp1 backup files that can be deleted.

No, but I should. RT7 is definitely doing something to bork matters. I just slipstreamed sp1 with Se7en UA; I am going to install it and see if the backup files can be deleted, and if so, then try a custom image with rt7 and try it again.
